Portico Web can run in two places.
The bundled app is served by a Portico Server and connects to that same server. It is useful for local setup, owner access, and direct browser use on the server’s network.
The hosted app at web.getportico.tv begins with a Portico Account, shows authorized server membership, verifies a direct route, and then connects to the selected server.
The hosted app does not send media through Portico Cloud. After connection, the browser requests authorized media from the Portico Server.
Use a current browser and allow protected media, fullscreen, and local-network permissions only when the browser requests them for the action you chose.
