Open Settings, select Live TV and DVR, and add a source. Enter the connection information supplied by the source and let Portico test it before saving.
Review the discovered channels. Disable entries you do not use and give duplicate or unclear channels names that make sense in the guide.
Play several channels before adding guide data. This separates source and tuner problems from later mapping problems.
If the source has a fixed number of tuners or concurrent streams, enter the correct limit. An inflated limit creates recording conflicts that Portico cannot resolve.
